Well, it feels good to be back after an extensive lay off. Over the past few months I’ve been dealing with all sorts of this that and the other which is essentially life. From robberies to work issues to family issues to trying to move house. The bottom line is shit happens, suck it up and get on with it. So in this time I’ve moved gyms as I was lucky enough to live in an area where a new Strength & Conditioning gym was opening, meaning I could finally pursue strongman training which I’ve wanted to for years (plus they have a prowler!).
The gym I’
m at now is called Kept Fit and it’s run by really cool and knowledgeable guys, and while at first I was skeptical because it looked a bit “crossfitty” I’ve
come to find that it has everything I need and more to achieve my goals. Furthermore being in this S&C environment has caused me to solidify how I
wish to progress career wise and actively pursue personal training and possibly push beyond that and become a UKSCA accredited strength coach.
